The House voted Wednesday in favor of a bill that decriminalizes possession of small amounts of marijuana. HB 1653 permits adults to possess one-quarter ounce or less of the substance. Anyone under age 18 caught with one-quarter ounce or less would be fined $200 and subject to a drug awareness program. Read more...
